Cross Country & Hawk Walk 2025

​The Harristown State High School annual Interhouse Cross Country and Hawk Walk will take place on Wednesday 2nd April.

This year’s Interhouse Cross Country will be conducted at the Kearneys Spring Sporting Complex. 

Students will work periods 1 to 4 as normal, first break will be 40 minutes duration, Period 5 Healthy Hawks will commence at 11:55am and conclude at 12.20pm to allow students to purchase lunch if required, then make their way to the bus interchange. Buses will depart from 12.30pm – 12.40pm from the bus interchange.

​Students are to participate in sports uniform, sports academy uniform or house colours.

Normal sign out procedures apply should students wish to leave from the venue i.e. signed note from parents presented to the office staff before school. Office staff will issue a Leave Request.  Student would then take the signed note and Leave Request to their Student Manager for authorization.  This Leave Request along with the signed note from parent should then be presented to Mr McIntosh (who will be in a fluoro vest) at the marshalling area, at the designated time of departure. 


HAWK WALK

Students not participating in the Cross Country will remain at school and complete the HAWK Walk. Students participating in the HAWK Walk will be advised of meeting places and further arrangements closer to the date.
