Every Day Counts
Our school proudly supports the Queensland government's Every day counts initiative and is firmly committed to improving student attendance at school.
Going to school every day counts … because students achieve better and maintain friendship groups when they attend school each and every day. A full education means a better chance at life. At school, students learn to develop social and emotional skills like communication, teamwork and resilience. Research shows on average that the greater a student’s attendance, the higher the student’s achievement. Please contact us for any advice and support about your child getting the most out of attending school.
What are the school hours?
School hours are 8.50 am to 3.00 pm. Students should arrive at school no later than 8.40 am each day. Some students operate under flexible timetabling arrangements and may start their lessons earlier than 8.50 am or finish later than 3.00 pm. Parents will be advised where these arrangements affect their child.
