World Teacher's Day

Adeng and Tiana encouraged students to recognise and acknowledge their teachers through the Thank a Teacher Project. Students can write letters thanking them and they will be delivered on the student's behalf on October 26th. Pens, paper and the 'post box' will be in the school library until the end of week 3 next term. There is no limit to how many letters that can be written, provided that students remember to be appropriate.
You can thank a teacher for their fun or engaging approach to teaching, the impact they may have had on you or simply just because you think they deserve some acknowledgement. Your kind and encouraging words may go a long way, so please get involved and so your simple part in showing your appreciation to the teachers in our school community.

MAJR Movement

Assembly enjoyed a video from the MAJR squad about the point of Arts Day - encouraging others to have a go and being a respectful audience.
