  • Creating, imagining and innovating
  • Thinking about thinking
  • Questioning and posing problems
  • Thinking interdependently

Ben Keighran and Olivia Russo spoke about Chess Club which is on every Wednesday in 2nd break in the Library. Tournaments are planned and beginners are welcome.

Kathryn Pamogas, Cultural Captain, introduced the Harmony Week Fashion Parade.  Harmony Week is about celebrating the vibrant cultural diversity at Harristown and acknowledging everyone who calls Australia home: from the traditional owners of the land to those who have travelled far from other countries.  The Fashion Parade showcases a diverse range of national costumes to celebrate the multicultural nature of our school.

Eleven countries were represented in the Fashion Parade including African countries, Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran, Pakistan,  Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Japan, Middle East, Australia and Indigenous community. Mr Green supported the students by wearing a costume from the Middle East. Kathryn encouraged us to spend the rest of our Harmony Week, "learning, experiencing and celebrating the vibrant multiculturalism of our Harristown community."
